Mark Allan Holman Our hearts are broken at the sudden passing of Mark Holman on Saturday August 7, 2021 at the age of 34 years. Mark was born on February 25, 1987 in Red Deer, Alberta to Larry Holman and Yvonne Flewell. Mark was a calm, kind, generous laid back gentleman with a philosophy and favorite saying “It Is What It Is”. He had a passion for hunting and especially for his Mountain Cur dogs. The Mountain Cur is a type of working dog that is bred specifically for treeing and trailing small game such as squirrel, and also used for hunting and baying big game like bear. Spending time with his family and friends was important to Mark, and he especially loved when he got to enjoy time playing with his friend’s children. Uncle Mark loved kids. Mark will be missed by his loving parents; Larry and Yvonne of Drayton Valley, and his maternal grandparents; Lorne and Grace Flewell of Red Deer. Mark also leaves to mourn many extended family members and a plethora of close friends. Mark is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jack and Iris Holman and his brother, Michael Holman in 2015. A celebration of Mark’s life will take place at a later date.
