Obituary of Wilfred Kinnie Schwitz

Wilfred Kinnie Schwitz April 7, 1952 – May 6, 2022 It is with profound sadness the family of Wilfred Kinnie Schwitz announce his sudden and unexpected passing on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the age of 70 years. Wilfred is the seventh child of nine children to their parents, Theodore and Sadie. Wilfred was born in Athabasca, Alberta and grew up on a farm just north of Athabasca. Wilfred had a great sense of humor, the love of adventure, immense love of his family and was a man who worked very hard; his kindness and generosity towards his family and friends came easily to him. Wilfred is survived by his late wife Alice’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Alvin, Allen, Darlene (Barney) and Lester and his colleagues who worked along side him for more than 30 years. Wilfred is predeceased by his wife, Alice; sisters, Alvenia and Theadora; brothers, Elmer and Dennis, and his parents, Theodore and Sadie. For those who wish to pay their respects, viewing will be held at Easyford Community Hall on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Easyford Cemetery.
