Mark - There hasn't been a day this past week where you haven't been in our thoughts. When a loss is so sudden it can make the healing process seem so out of reach. There are few words that can sooth your heartache, only time can do that. May the memories you shared together bring you some level of comfort. There never seems to be enough time with those that we love, just some are shorter than others. We can imagine that you feel you have lost a half of yourself. Life won't feel quite the same anymore, but we are sure she would want you to draw strength from the family around you. Wishing you and yours peace for all the challenging days ahead, take care of one another.

I met Sharon at a workplace many years ago, and she made the job easier on difficult days as she found humor in whatever tasks we had to. I remember her walking in the front door with a huge grin when she spotted me, as if to say, "I wonder what trouble the two of us can get into today?" Her sense of humor encouraged people to have a good time. Her adventurous side didn't wait for "someday" to come; she took the leap quite often to see the places she wanted to while she could. The dedication she held for her family members was evident as no matter what life threw her way, her kids and grandkids came before her own needs. Mark, her gratitude for you was well illustrated and she took every opportunity for people to know you are nothing less than a wonderful loving husband. She surely fought to stay with you but the physical pain was too great. We hope you can find some peace in knowing she is no longer struggling with that pain.
Until we meet again.
