Obituary of Ronald Paul Kluk

Ronald Paul Kluk February 12, 1954 – July 29, 2022 We are incredibly saddened to announce the passing of our amazing husband, dad, son, grandfather, brother and friend at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Center on Friday, July 29, 2022, at the age of 68 years. Loud and rough around the edges, Ron’s heart was softer and bigger than he let on. If you knew him, you loved him (or not). Ron loved camping, fishing, the occasional shot of tequila and a great bottle of red wine. Although he often cursed his trucks, he loved them immensely. Playing music and singing brought him much joy. A good time was always had by all at his “Klukfest” weekend. Ron loved hosting family and friends at his campground and loved fires around his firepit out by the waterhole. Family time and his grandkids were what he cherished most of all. Ron will always be lovingly remembered by his wife, Debbie; 3 children Wendy (Scott) Swap, Justin (Jessica) Kluk, and Evan (Alysse) Kluk; 8 beloved grandchildren Gage, Ky, Grace, Reid, Archer, Ellie, Raya and Tave; parents Paul and Ida Kluk and father-in-law, Steve Kurytnik; sisters, Deb (Don) Ewachow, Linda (Purnell) Lukey, and Donna (Jack) Cherewyk and his many nieces and nephews He is predeceased by his grandson Gage Bogart, and mother-in-law Sonia Kurytnik. We wish to extend our deep appreciation to Dr. Botes and the staff at the Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Center for the comfort and care provided to Ron.
