When I was looking for a service dog prospect, I kept running into dead ends from breeders who were not interested in working with me. Shannon reached out to me and welcomed me to her home to meet her dogs. We spent several hours playing with the puppies and enjoying good conversation with her. Two weeks later we brought home our puppy, who has grown into an amazing, loving, hard working and such a well mannered family member. I gush over her often, and kept in touch with Shannon who was always supportive of our journey. Shannon was great to talk to and sent me jokes often, and she never complained. I had no idea that she was fighting such a battle so the news of her passing was a complete surprise. She was a gem, and will be sorely missed. She has had an incredibly positive influence in our lives through her love of her dogs, and I cherish this loving memory of her every day. I am grateful to Shannon, and will think of her fondly and often. Our sincerest condolences to Shannon's family and friends.
