Obituary of Brian Hellervik

Brian Norman Hellervik January 7, 1948 – May 25, 2023 It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Hellervik on May 25, 2023 surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 75 years. There is comfort in knowing his battle with cancer is over and he is at rest. Brian’s legacy of love and strength will live on in Linda, his wife of 51 years, and his sons, Clint, and Jason (Tracy); also left to reflect his character and spirit are his grandchildren, Hayley, Courtney, Hayden, Hunter, and Emma; great-grandchildren, Macie and Blaire; sister, Shelley Hilborn; brother, Vincent Hilborn; a special mention of Brian’s extended family the Hilborn’s and Erickson’s. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Harald and Inger Hellervik; siblings, Ingrid Harris, Sylvia Boyd, and Ken Hellervik. The family will always cherish the many moments that are now memories that they shared with Brian. They will always remember his willingness to lend a helping hand and his friends that became family. Brian had a strong work ethic, but he loved his work driving bus for the Wildcats hockey team. A man of strong opinions and values, he stood up for what he believed and always had the backs of those he loved – both family and friends. Brian loved fishing and most times on his own to enjoy the serene peace of the moment. Brian enjoyed working with wood, and everyone had a handmade piece to cherish. Brian’s greatest passion in life was his family. Brian’s family want to extend a special thank you to Doreen Hellervik, Ben Hellervik, Eva and Alan Fogel, Faye and Albert, Roger, Maryann, Dallas, and Lori for your support and visits with Brian during his final days.
