Thomas Nelson Harnum

Passed peacefully away at Whitecourt Hospital, surrounded by family, following an unexpected medical emergency on May 25th 2023. Tom was a quiet, private person who was active with family, work, hunting and fishing until recent years. He enjoyed private gatherings with family and friends when not working or enjoying the outdoors. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many.
Tom was predeceased by his parents Jack and Sarah Harnum (Green's Harbour NL) and his parents in law Harold and Leona Pollett (New Harbour, NL)
Leaving to mourn, his wife of almost 51 years, Lillian "June" Harnum Whitecourt, AB), Son and daughter in law Tom and Laurie Harnum (Whitecourt, AB), Granddaughter and grandson in law Tanika and Dustin Jendrick (Whitecourt, AB), Grandson Kyle Harnum (Whitecourt, AB), Great Granddaughter Melody Jendrick (Whitecourt, AB), estranged brother and sister in law Jim and Norma Harnum (Green's Harbour, NL), Sister and brother in law Gloria and Rick Van Dyk (Sprague, MB), baby sister Verna (3 weeks old). Cremation has taken place. As per Tom's wishes there will be no formal service at this time. Upon the passing of his wife, June, she will be cremated, their remains blended and there will be a service and joint interment at that time. That way, as he said, "They both can remain together forever".
