Obituary of Ronnie Carl Lacombe

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Ronnie Carl Lacombe. He passed peacefully in his home Thursday, June 15, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. People would describe Ronnie as a kind and generous person, someone that you could always count on no matter what. He made such a large impact in the many lives who he crossed paths with, regardless of the time, 10 years or 10 minutes. Ronnie spent the last six years of his life living in Fox Creek, Alberta working as the superintendent of the Silverbirch Golf Course. He took great pride in his work, as well as his golf game. Ronnie was an avid golfer and enjoyed sharing his love of golf by teaching others. Ronnie will be deeply missed by daughters, Nancy Lacombe and Dana Lacombe; Grandchildren, Jadon, Sydney, and Rylan Lacombe, Lily and Lain Carruthers; as well as expected Great Grandbaby Lacombe. Ronnie is predeceased by mother, Irene Storfie; Father, Clarence Lacombe. The family would like to give a special thanks to the health care team in Fox Creek, for the care and compassion shown to Ronnie during his stay. Along with Lorne, Kim, Dr. Danie, and Kaitlyn. Celebration of life details will be released at a further date.
