Bradden Richard Jonzon
August 7, 2000 – September 3, 2023
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend Bradden Richard Jonzon on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the age of 23 years. Our dreamer has gone ahead to “plow” the way for those left behind. While we grieve, we are also grateful for the wonderful memories Bradden leaves for all his family and friends.
Bradden was a great son, a brother who looked out for his sister. Fat Brad as he called himself was the life of the party and it was a party wherever he went. Bradden was a truck driver like his Dad; buying his first truck at the age of 19. Bradden enjoyed fishing, camping with family, hunting, quadding, target shooting with buddies, and he loved being a Friday night Karaoke singer. Bradden was independent, driven and responsible and always had a great sense of humor. He was very family oriented and always ready to lend a helping hand, to family or friends. Bradden dreamt of farming in Montana or Alaska but he was a home body through and through. He was a man with a soft heart that cared big, had big arms to hug you tight, and a sense of adventure that led him to become a wanna-be YouTube star.
Bradden is lovingly remembered by his dad, Rick; sister, Stephanie; grandparents, Don Jonzon and Linda Walters; Aunt Christine (Wayne), Uncle Darcy, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Ian and Aunt Shannon, and numerous family and friends.
Bradden was predeceased by his mom, Cindy; grandma Yvonne Jonzon; grandpa John Walters; Uncle Jerry, Uncle David, and Uncle Louie.
For those who so desire, donations in honour of Bradden may be made directly to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
A Celebration of Life for Bradden will be held on Wednesday, September 13, with a viewing at 12:00 – 12:45 p.m., and his service at 1:00 p.m. at the Mackenzie Conference Center, Drayton Valley, Alberta 5737 45 Avenue, Drayton Valley, Alberta.
