Please share a memory of Edna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Edna Louise Hedch May 1, 1961- September 11, 2023. It is with the most profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Edna Louise Hedch, on September 11, 2023 in Edmonton, Alberta. Edna Louise Hedch was born to Mary Louise Hebert and Walter Emeric Lindstrom in Edmonton , Alberta on May 1st, 1961. There are some people on this earth that enter a room and provide a noticeable radiating light, Edna was one of these people. Her smile, her infectious laugh, her kindness, would gain the attention from those that she was close to. Often you could find Edna outside, whether it be in the mountains, outside camping, or fishing. Being apart of nature brought her great peace and joy, Edna loved to accompany Allan to the river where she would sit on the river bank, toe in the water and watch Allan pan for gold. Although they never left with much, the memories that they made truly were made of gold. Edna was the life of a party. Having fun was always a top priority, followed closely by making the fun. At Edna and Allen’s home you would be astonished to find the extraordinary miracle that is the Marshmallow Bush! Allan swears that the marshmallow’s sprouted overnight, and that they added the best ambiance to the property. Edna was intelligent too, she had received two degrees, worked as a family support worker, and on her downtime would read the ever-growing stack of books. She would play music throughout the house and teach her children about being caring and just people. Edna loved her family more than anything and in turn they loved her just as much. Edna is survived by her loving husband; Allan H. Hedch, her children; Eldie, Mitchelle, and Corey, her granddaughter Jackson, her mom; Mary Louise, her three siblings; Theresa. Eric, and Ed, her extended family; Rebecca, Aaron, and may more family and friends. Edna is predeceased by her dad; Walter Emeric Lindstrom, who is patiently waiting to take care of his little girl once again. There are about 250.000 words in the English language and there are no ways to truly express just how thankful we are to everyone that was a part of Edna’s life, you knew her, you filled her with love, and you made her life so joyful. There will be a Celebration of Life held at the Yoho Museum (Township Rd 554, Haddock, AB) on September 30, 2023 from 11:00 am until 5:00pm.
