Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Ayotte

Mary Elizabeth Ayotte (Klovansky) January 3, 1931 – October 19, 2023 On Thursday, October 19, 2023 Mrs. Mary Ayotte of Drayton Valley passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. Mary leaves to cherish her memory: five children: June Rondeau of Beaupre, QC, Mary McLeod of Red Deer, AB, Rick Ayotte of Mayerthorpe, AB, Kelly (Jodie) Ayotte of Drayton Valley, AB and Katherine Ayotte of Cayley, AB; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; and four siblings: Jean McLeod, Steve Klovansky, Jim (Blanche) Klovansky and Florine Demyen, as well as extensive relatives and friends. Mary was predeceased by her husband John, son Murray, and grandson Terry, and her parents Steve and Albina. The family is comforted knowing the storms of this life are over for Mary. Her greatest passion was for family gatherings and just taking the moments to enjoy her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary instilled into her family the love for Christmas and Easter especially, but any family gathering throughout the year was always enjoyed. She always loved the banter of a huge, loud dinner filled with stories and laughter. Mary could often be seen sitting and smiling in the contentment of these moments that are now memories. Mary will be greatly missed but always loved and remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Affinity Funeral Services, 5001 – 45 Ave. Drayton Valley, AB.
