Obituary of Brian John McGregor

Brian John McGregor (May 20, 1948 - November 6, 2023) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brian John McGregor on November 6, 2023, in Whitecourt, Alberta, at the age of 75. Brian was born on May 20, 1948, in Blue Ridge, Alberta, to his parents Ian and Rachel McGregor. Brian will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his mother Rachel, his sisters Sheila and Barbara (Tim), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, along with other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Ian, older sister Dianna, and younger brother Garry. Brian's journey began at home in Blue Ridge, Alberta, where he was born with the presence of his great grandmother. He dedicated many years of his life working as an automotive mechanic at Whitecourt Ford. Though he may have been a man of few words, every word he spoke carried great meaning. Brian had a profound love for all animals, particularly dogs. He found solace in hunting and fishing, activities that brought him immense joy. Known for his loving and kind nature, Brian cherished spending time with his family, whether it was sharing a meal together or connecting through a Facetime chat. The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who have sent their condolences during this difficult time. A small family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate the life of Brian McGregor.
