Fond Farewell to Kyson Lorne Christie It is with heavy hearts and tearful eyes that we bid farewell to Kyson Lorne Christie, a radiant star who was born in Barrhead, Alberta on September 19th, 2013, and departed from us in Whitecourt on November 10th, 2023. Kyson was the cherished child of Carla Stromstedt and Kevin Christie. Kyson lived his best life through his insatiable curiosity, fascination with puzzles and spinners, and the outdoors. His adventurous spirit was showcased by his participation in Challenger baseball and his love for playgrounds and water. Carla recalled an impromptu visit to Rotary Park, where Kyson embraced the unexpected bucket dump fully clothed, and beaming with happiness. Kyson's sheer delight in balloons was a sight to see, especially when his dad would inflate them to the brink of "catastrophic disaster". Whether splashing in the water, playing hide-and-seek, or immersing himself in games on his tablet, his fascination with the rhythm of tools in the yard with his Dad or the hum of kitchen appliances while baking with his mom illustrated his passion for life. Rest peacefully among the stars and the moon, Kyson – your spirit will forever be remembered and celebrated. Kyson's parents lost most of their photos in the fire.
